 Doug Lagasse, CFP, EPC
Doug Lagasse joined Matheis Associates in May 2001. As a Certified Financial
Planner, Doug offers direction to Group Pension clients looking to develop their
personal asset mix within their Group Plan. In addition, Doug answers their questions
regarding all other aspects of their financial well being including mortgages,
insurance and estate planning needs.
Doug comes to us with many years of experience in investment management. Doug
was a stockbroker in the early 70’s and later became a portfolio manager for a
major Canadian financial institution. As a portfolio manager, Doug was responsible
for developing and implementing individual investment portfolios as well as pension
investment portfolios for some large Canadian corporations.
Doug holds the Elder Planning Counselor designation and he is a CARP Recommended
advisor.
Doug and his wife Carol are long time residents of Pickering. During the winter
months they are active curlers while during the summer they enjoy boating on the
Trent- Severn Waterway. Doug is the past president of the Annandale Curling Club.
