In 1985, with a determined vision in mind, Harry Matheis formed Matheis Associates Benefits Consultants Inc., which has grown to a multi-faceted "boutique" firm now known as Matheis Team Financial. Today the company serves corporations across North America in employee benefits and compensation, human resources, strategic financial and lifestyle planning for the business owner or individual.
Harry has extensive background in working with Corporations and Associations in an advocate's role conducting analysis,recommending strategies, designing, and harmonizing various types of employee programs with eye to Human Resources principals and guidelines.
With a degree in Social Sciences from Centennial College and York University, Harry continued his studies at Ryerson in Marketing and Business. Harry maintains accredited Licensing in the insurance industry and the Canadian Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).
During his 24 years of practice, Harry has been an active member of Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute, he holds the Elder Planning Counselor designation, he is a CARP Recommended advisor, a member of Advocis and former President of the Durham Advocis Chapter. He has contributed to his field by chairing various advisory boards in the insurance, employee benefits and disability management areas.
